Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026. This policy describes how OWEDONE 1.0 and owedone.com handle information.
1. Information in the OWEDONE app
OWEDONE lets you enter information such as debt names, balances, interest rates, minimum payments and planning preferences. In the current version, this debt-plan information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to OWEDONE servers.
2. Accounts and bank connections
OWEDONE 1.0 does not require you to create an account. It does not connect to bank accounts, payment cards, lenders, credit bureaus or open-banking services.
3. Backups, sharing and import
The app can create a local JSON backup of your plan. If you choose Share Backup, Android's share interface lets you send or save that file using services installed on your device. Those third-party services have their own privacy practices. OWEDONE does not automatically upload your backup.
4. Earn More
Earn More Level 1 and Level 2 use an internal curated opportunity catalogue and local matching logic. They do not pull live vacancies or job listings in version 1.0. Information you provide for matching is processed locally in the current build.
5. AI features
Version 1.0 does not send your information to a live AI backend. Earn More Level 3 can prepare a brief locally, but there is no live AI transmission in the current build.
6. Website data
OWEDONE does not include advertising trackers or first-party behavioural analytics on owedone.com in the current site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, timestamps and related network metadata, subject to Cloudflare's own terms and privacy practices.
7. External links
The website or app may link to third-party services, including Google Play or support resources. When you leave OWEDONE, the privacy practices of the destination service apply.
8. Security and your device
Because plan data is stored locally, the security of your device and any backups you create matters. Use an appropriate device lock and store exported backups carefully. Avoid sharing backup files with people or services you do not trust.
9. Changes to this policy
If OWEDONE later adds accounts, cloud sync, live job feeds, analytics, or live AI features, this policy will be updated before those features are represented as part of the service.
